What are the responsibilities and job description for the Radiologic Technologist - Cardiovascular position at Norman Regional Health System?
To be successful in this role, you will need to complete Cath Lab RT Orientation within 6 months and all competencies listed in department policy within 6 months.
Education-wise, completion of a 24-month formal program or military program of Radiologic Technology with American Registry of Radiologic Technologist eligibility and/or current RCIS certification is required. Previous procedural area experience is preferred.
A valid American Registry of Radiologic Technology registration, Registered and/or RCIS, and Cardiovascular (CV) or (CI) and/or (VI) certification are also required. Basic Life Support training or re-training is necessary during orientation prior to providing patient care, with Current Basic Life Support maintenance through re-training for duration of employment. ACLS training must be achieved within 6 months of hire and maintained throughout employment.
