Norman Regional Health System is seeking a skilled and dedicated Radiologic Technologist to join our Catheterization Laboratory team. As a Cath Lab CV Rad Technologist, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and service.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Prepare equipment before and during procedures
* Identify and assess patient condition, preparing, positioning, and providing patient care
* Establish and maintain a sterile environment
* Serve as preceptor for new hires and radiology students
* Participate in the orientation of new staff and utilize downtime effectively by stocking rooms, checking equipment, and other delegated tasks by Charge person or manager
**Education and Qualifications**
* Education: Completion of 24-month formal program or military program of Radiologic Technology with American Registry of Radiologic Technologist eligible and/or current RCIS
* Experience: Previous Procedural Area experience preferred
* Licensure/Certification/Registration/Etc.: American Registry of Radiologic Technology. Registered and/or RCIS. Cardiovascular (CV) or (CI) and/or (VI) certification preferred. Basic Life Support (BLS) training or re-training is required during orientation prior to providing patient care. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) is required to be maintained thru re-training for duration of employment. ACLS training must be achieved within 6 months of hire and maintained through duration of employment
