Job Summary
The Cath Lab CV Rad Technologist will play a vital role in our cardiovascular program, working closely with cardiologists and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining a sterile environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare equipment for procedures and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Assess patient condition and provide patient care according to department policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with cardiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest medical technologies and techniques.
- Maintain accurate records and reports, as required by department policies and procedures.
Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited Radiographic Program or accredited Cardiovascular Program.
One year of experience working in a Cath Lab setting preferred.
Registered as a Radiographer with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist - ARRT or Registration from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International – RCIS.
Basic Life Support and Advanced Life Support certifications required.
Compensation and Benefits
$27.84-$45.46/hr based on previous work experience.
