About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated professional to work closely with a team of cardiologists in delivering exceptional patient care. As a Cath Lab CV Rad Technologist - RCIS, you will play a crucial role in preparing equipment, assessing patient conditions, and maintaining a sterile environment during procedures.
Responsibilities
- Equipment Preparation: Prepare equipment before and during procedures.
- Patient Care: Identify and assess patient condition, prepare, position, and provide patient care.
- Sterile Environment: Establish and maintain a sterile environment.
- Professional Practice: Serve as preceptor for new hires and radiology students, participate in the orientation of new staff, and use downtime appropriately by stocking rooms, checking equipment, and other delegated tasks by Charge person or manager.
- Collaboration: Maintain strong professional working relationships with physicians and leadership to facilitate excellent patient care.
Qualifications
- Education: Completion of a 24-month formal program or military program of Radiologic Technology with American Registry of Radiologic Technologist eligibility and/or current RCIS.
- Experience: Previous Procedural Area experience preferred.
- Certification: American Registry of Radiologic Technology registration and/or RCIS certification, Cardiovascular (CV) or (CI) and/or (VI) certification preferred, Basic Life Support (BLS) training required, Advanced Life Support (ACLS) training within 6 months of hire.
