Responsibilities
- Prepare equipment for procedures and maintain a sterile environment.
- Identify and assess patient conditions, preparing and positioning patients for optimal care.
- Collaborate with physicians and leadership to ensure excellent patient care and facilitate strong professional relationships.
- Provide education and training to new staff members and radiology students.
- Utilize downtime effectively by stocking rooms, checking equipment, and completing delegated tasks.
Qualifications
A completed 24-month formal program or military program in Radiologic Technology is required, with eligibility for American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) registration. RCIS certification is also preferred.
