Qualifications and Requirements
Education and Certifications:
- Completion of a 24-month formal program or military program of Radiologic Technology with American Registry of Radiologic Technologist eligibility.
- Registered and/or RCIS certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
Experience and Skills:
- Previous procedural area experience is preferred, with a strong focus on teamwork and communication.
Licensure and Certification:
- American Registry of Radiologic Technology: Registered and/or RCIS.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) training required during orientation prior to providing patient care.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) required to be maintained through re-training for duration of employment.
- ACLS training must be achieved within 6 months of hire and maintained through duration of employment.
