What are the responsibilities and job description for the Radiologic Technologist - Cath Lab position at Norman Regional Health System?
Norman Regional Health System is a community hospital system nestled at the Southern border of the Oklahoma City metro area. We have an innovative cardiovascular program and are looking for caring knowledgeable Registered Technologists to expand our cardiovascular program.
We will soon be moving to our new state-of-the-art Critical Care Tower and will have three Cath Lab suites, one Electrophysiology suite, one Hybrid suite, two treatment rooms, and seventeen Same Day Surgery rooms. We work with a team of nine cardiologists and two electrophysiologists.

- Intersocietal Accreditation Commission (IAC) Echo Accreditation
- American Association Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Rehabilitation (AACVPR) Accreditation
Responsibilities:
- Equipment Preparation:
Prepare all necessary equipment before and during procedures, ensuring it is properly sterilized and ready for use.
- Patient Care:
Assess patient conditions, prepare them for procedures, and provide top-notch care throughout their stay.
- Cleanliness and Sterilization:
Establish and maintain a clean, well-organized, and sterile environment, adhering to strict infection control protocols.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Radiographic Program or Cardiovascular Program
- Registered as a Radiographer with the American Registry of Radiological Technologist (ARRT) or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI)
- One year of experience working in a Cath Lab environment
- Basic Life Support certification required; Advanced Life Support certification within six months of hire
Compensation:
- $27.84-$45.46 per hour based on previous work experience
