This role requires a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual who can work effectively in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will have relevant certifications, experience in procedural areas, and a commitment to ongoing professional development.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare equipment before and during procedures
- Identify and assess patient condition, prepare, position, and provide patient care
- Maintain a sterile environment
- Serve as a preceptor for new hires and radiology students
- Utilize downtime effectively by completing tasks assigned by Charge person or manager
- Foster strong relationships with physicians and leadership to ensure exceptional patient care
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Radiographic Program or equivalent
- Registration from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) training required during orientation prior to providing patient care; Current BLS required to be maintained through re-training for duration of employment
- Advanced Life Support (ACLS) training must be achieved within 6 months of hire and maintained through duration of employment
