About This Role
This role involves preparing equipment and providing patient care during cardiovascular procedures. The successful candidate will establish a sterile environment, support new staff, and maintain professional relationships with physicians to ensure high-quality patient care.
Key responsibilities include:
- Preparing equipment before and during procedures.
- Identifying and assessing patient conditions.
- Establishing and maintaining a sterile environment.
- Serving as a preceptor for new hires and radiology students.
- Utilizing downtime effectively.
- Nurturing strong professional relationships with physicians and leadership.
The ideal candidate will possess certifications from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) and/or current RCIS, with preference given to those with Cardiovascular (CV) or (CI) and/or (VI) certification. A completion of 24-month formal program or military program of Radiologic Technology is required, along with previous Procedural Area experience.
