Cath Lab CV Rad Technologist Role:
The Cath Lab CV Rad Technologist plays a critical role in our healthcare system, working closely with physicians and other medical professionals to ensure seamless patient care. This position requires attention to detail, effective communication skills, and a commitment to maintaining high-quality patient outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure equipment readiness before and during procedures
- Prepare patients for procedures, positioning them correctly and providing necessary care
- Maintain a sterile environment throughout procedures
- Participate in the orientation of new staff and serve as a preceptor for radiology students
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Radiographic Program or Cardiovascular Program
- One year of experience in a Cath Lab setting, preferably
- Registered as a Radiographer with ARRT or RCIS
- Basic Life Support training, with ACLS achieved within 6 months of hire
