Job Summary:
This position involves collaborating with cardiologists and maintaining a sterile environment for cardiovascular procedures. As a Cath Lab CV Rad Technologist - RCIS, you will be responsible for preparing equipment, providing patient care, and serving as a preceptor for new hires and radiology students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparation and maintenance of equipment for procedures
- Patient assessment and preparation for imaging
- Establishing and maintaining a sterile environment
- Participating in the orientation of new staff and serving as a preceptor for radiology students
Qualifications:
- Completion of a 24-month formal program or military program in Radiologic Technology
- Eligibility and/or current certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) and Cardiovascular Credentialing International (RCIS)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) training and Advanced Life Support (ACLS) training within 6 months of hire
