We have an innovative cardiovascular program at Norman Regional Health System, seeking a Registered Technologist to join our team. Our state-of-the-art Critical Care Tower features multiple Cath Lab suites, allowing us to provide high-quality patient care.
We work closely with a team of medical professionals, including nine cardiologists and two electrophysiologists. Our commitment to excellence has earned us several awards and accreditations, including the American College of Cardiology Chest Pain Center with PCI and Resuscitation Accreditation.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare equipment for procedures
- Assess patient condition
- Provide patient care in a sterile environment
- Serve as preceptor for new hires and radiology students
- Maintain strong professional relationships with physicians and leadership
Requirements:
- Education: Completion of 24-month formal program or military program of Radiologic Technology
- Experience: Previous Procedural Area experience preferred
- Licensure/Certification/Registration: American Registry of Radiologic Technology, Registered and/or RCIS, Cardiovascular (CV) or (CI) and/or (VI) certification preferred, Basic Life Support (BLS) training or re-training required during orientation prior to providing patient care
