The Norman Regional Health System's cardiovascular team is dedicated to delivering compassionate and expert care to patients requiring cardiovascular procedures. As a Cath Lab CV Rad Technologist - RCIS, you will have a vital role in ensuring the highest quality care through equipment preparation and maintenance, patient assessment, and collaboration with healthcare professionals.
Main Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain equipment according to established protocols
- Evaluate patient conditions and provide personalized care
- Ensure a sterile environment to minimize infection risk
- Act as a mentor for new hires and radiology students
- Collaborate with physicians and leadership to achieve shared goals
Education and Experience:
- Graduate of an accredited Radiographic Program or Cardiovascular Program
- One year of experience working in a Cath Lab preferred
- Registered as a Radiographer with the American Registry of Radiological Technologists (ARRT) or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) training or re-training required
