- Prepares equipment before and during procedures;
- Assesses patient condition, prepares and positions them for care;
- Maintains a sterile environment;
- Preccepts new hires and radiology students, participates in their orientation and training;
- Utilizes downtime effectively.
To succeed in this role, you must meet specific qualifications, including completion of a 24-month formal Radiologic Technology program or equivalent military program, eligibility for American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) registration, and current registration as a Registered and/or RCIS.
