As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, your primary responsibilities will include preparing equipment, assessing patient conditions, and maintaining a sterile environment. To excel in this role, you must possess strong professional working relationships with physicians and leadership, ensuring seamless collaboration for excellent patient care.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Prepares equipment before and during procedures;
- Assesses patient condition, prepares and positions them for care;
- Maintains a sterile environment;
- Preccepts new hires and radiology students, participates in their orientation and training;
- Utilizes downtime effectively.
To succeed in this role, you must meet specific qualifications, including completion of a 24-month formal Radiologic Technology program or equivalent military program, eligibility for American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) registration, and current registration as a Registered and/or RCIS.
