Responsibilities
As a Cath Lab CV Rad Technologist, your key responsibilities will include:
- Preparing equipment before and during procedures.
- Identifying and assessing patient condition, preparing and positioning patients for care.
- Maintaining a sterile environment, adhering to departmental protocols.
- Serving as a preceptor for new hires and radiology students, promoting knowledge transfer and skill development.
- Collaborating with physicians and leadership to facilitate excellent patient outcomes.
Qualifications
- A graduate of an accredited Radiographic Program or Cardiovascular Program.
- One year of experience working in a Cath Lab preferred.
- Registered as a Radiographer with the American Registry of Radiological Technologist - ARRT or Registration from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International – RCIS.
- Basic Life Support certification required.
- Advanced Life Support certification within 6 months of hire.
