The Cath Lab CV Rad Technologist prepares and assists with cardiovascular procedures, ensuring patient care and maintaining a sterile environment. Key responsibilities include:
- Preparing equipment before and during procedures
- Identifying and assessing patient condition
- Establishing and maintaining a sterile environment
- Professional Practice
- Serving as preceptor for new hires and radiology students and participating in the orientation of new staff
- Using downtime appropriately by stocking rooms, checking equipment, and other delegated tasks by Charge person or manager
