Job Summary
The Cath Lab CV Rad Technologist is a critical member of the healthcare team, responsible for preparing equipment and providing patient care during cardiovascular procedures. This role requires strong collaboration with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure excellent patient outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain a sterile environment for procedures.
- Assess patient conditions and provide appropriate care.
- Serve as a preceptor for new hires and students, participating in their orientation and training.
- Maintain strong professional relationships with physicians and leadership to facilitate seamless patient care.
Requirements:
- Completion of 24-month formal program or military program of Radiologic Technology with American Registry of Radiologic Technologist eligibility and/or current RCIS certification.
- Previous procedural area experience preferred.
- American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) registration and/or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) registration.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) training and Advanced Life Support (ACLS) certification within six months of hire.
