Job Description
Requirements:
The Norman Regional Health System is seeking a highly skilled Cath Lab Technologist to join our cardiovascular team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and providing patient care during cardiovascular procedures while maintaining a sterile environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare equipment before and during procedures.
- Assess patient condition and provide patient care accordingly.
- Establish and maintain a sterile environment.
- Precept new hires and radiology students and participate in the orientation of new staff.
Requirements:
Completion of a 24-month formal program or military program of Radiologic Technology with American Registry of Radiologic Technologist eligible and/or current RCIS certification.
Previous Procedural Area experience preferred.
Basic Life Support (BLS) training or re-training required during orientation prior to providing patient care. Current BLS required to be maintained through re-training for duration of employment.
