What are the responsibilities and job description for the Radiologic Technologist for Cath Lab Procedures position at Norman Regional Health System?

Our innovative cardiovascular program is looking for caring knowledgeable Registered Technologists to expand our services. We work with a team of nine cardiologists and two electrophysiologists in a state-of-the-art Critical Care Tower.
Our team is dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care. We are accredited by the American College of Cardiology Chest Pain Center with PCI and Resuscitation Accreditation, NCDR Registry Gold Award, Women's Choice Award in Heart Care, IAC Echo Accreditation, and AACVPR Accreditation.
Job Summary:
- Prepares equipment before and during procedures.
- Identifies and assesses patient condition, prepares, positions, and provides patient care.
- Establishes and maintains a sterile environment.
- Serves as preceptor for new hires and radiology students.
- Uses downtime appropriately.
We require completion of 24 months of formal program or military program in Radiologic Technology with ARRT eligibility and/or current RCIS. Previous procedural area experience is preferred. Basic Life Support training or re-training is required prior to providing patient care. ACLS training must be achieved within 6 months of hire and maintained throughout employment.
