Responsibilities
* Prepares equipment before and during cardiovascular procedures
* Identifies and assesses patient condition
* Provides patient care while maintaining sterile environments
* Participates in professional practice by serving as a preceptor for new staff and ensuring optimal patient care in collaboration with cardiologists
Requirements
* Completion of 24-month formal program or military program of Radiologic Technology with American Registry of Radiologic Technologist eligible and/or current RCIS
* Previous procedural area experience preferred
* Current Basic Life Support (BLS) training required during orientation prior to providing patient care
* ACLS training must be achieved within 6 months of hire and maintained through duration of employment
