Role Summary
The Cath Lab CV Rad Technologist will prepare and position patients for cardiovascular procedures, ensuring a sterile environment while collaborating with a team of cardiologists. This role involves serving as a mentor for new hires, maintaining the Cath Lab equipment, and participating in ongoing training in Basic and Advanced Life Support.
Responsibilities
This position requires the ability to identify and assess patient condition, establish and maintain a sterile environment, and provide patient care. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a procedural setting and be certified in Radiologic Technology.
Qualifications
A Graduate of an accredited Radiographic Program or Graduate of an accredited Cardiovascular Program is required, along with one year of experience working in a Cath Lab preferred. Candidates must also be registered as a Radiographer with the American Registry of Radiological Technologist (ARRT) or registered from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International – RCIS.
