Norman Regional Health System invites applications for a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join its cardiovascular team.
This position involves preparing and assisting in cardiovascular procedures, ensuring a sterile environment and patient care. The ideal candidate will possess certification in Radiologic Technology and critical care training, with the ability to collaborate with a team of cardiologists and serve as a preceptor for new staff.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare equipment before and during procedures.
- Identify and assess patient condition, prepare, position, and provide patient care.
- Establish and maintain a sterile environment.
- Serve as preceptor for new hires and radiology students, participating in the orientation of new staff.
Qualifications:
- Complete Cath Lab RT Orientation within 6 months.
- Meet all competencies listed in department policy within 6 months.
- Hold completion of a 24-month formal program or military program of Radiologic Technology with American Registry of Radiologic Technologist eligibility and/or current RCIS registration.
Benefits:
