Norman Regional Health System is seeking a highly skilled Radiologic Technologist with Procedural Expertise to join our team. As a critical member of the cardiovascular team, you will be responsible for preparing and assisting during procedures while ensuring a sterile environment and providing exceptional patient care.
This role requires strong technical skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Our hospital features a state-of-the-art Critical Care Tower with three Cath Lab suites, an Electrophysiology suite, a Hybrid suite, and multiple treatment rooms.

- American Association Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Rehabilitation (AACVPR) Accreditation
Main Duties
- Prepare equipment before and during procedures
- Assess patient condition, prepare, position, and provide patient care
- Maintain a sterile environment
- Serve as preceptor for new hires and radiology students, participating in the orientation of new staff
- Use downtime effectively by stocking rooms, checking equipment, and completing delegated tasks
- Develop and maintain strong professional relationships with physicians and leadership to ensure excellent patient care
Requirements and Qualifications
- Complete Cath Lab RT Orientation within 6 months
- Complete all competencies listed in department policy within 6 months
Education and Certifications
- Graduate of a 24-month formal Radiologic Technology program or military program, eligible for and/or current American Registry of Radiologic Technologist registration, and/or RCIS certification
Certifications and Licenses
- American Registry of Radiologic Technology registration, Registered and/or RCIS
- Cardiovascular (CV) or (CI) and/or (VI) certification preferred
- Basic Life Support (BLS) training required during orientation prior to providing patient care, and maintained throughout employment
- Advanced Life Support (ACLS) training must be achieved within 6 months of hire and maintained throughout employment
Salary and Benefits Package
- $27.84-$45.46/hr based on previous work experience
