About the Position
Job Summary
The Cath Lab CV Rad Technologist is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our cardiovascular program, working closely with cardiologists and electrophysiologists to deliver exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Equipment preparation and maintenance.
- Patient assessment and care.
- Collaboration with healthcare professionals.
- Preceptorship and mentoring.
- Regulatory compliance and adherence.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Radiographic Program or
- Graduate of an accredited Cardiovascular Program
- One year of experience working in an Cath Lab preferred
- Registered as a Radiographer with the American Registry of Radiological Technologist - ARRT or
- Registration from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International – RCIS
- Basic Life Support
- Advanced Life Support within 6 months of hire
Education
Completion of 24 month formal program or military program of Radiologic Technology with American Registry of Radiologic Technologist eligible and/or current RCIS.
