About the Role
This Cath Lab Cardiovascular Technologist position plays a critical role in ensuring the success of our cardiovascular program. The successful candidate will work closely with cardiologists and electrophysiologists to deliver high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities
The key responsibilities of this role include:
- Preparing equipment and maintaining a sterile environment.
- Assessing patient condition and providing patient care.
- Mentoring new staff and participating in their orientation.
- Using downtime effectively to stock rooms, check equipment, and complete other delegated tasks.
Qualifications
To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following qualifications:
- Completion of a 24-month formal program or military program of Radiologic Technology with American Registry of Radiologic Technologist eligibility and/or current RCIS certification.
- Previous procedural area experience preferred.
- American Registry of Radiologic Technology registration and/or RCIS certification, cardiovascular (CV) or (CI) and/or (VI) certification preferred.
