Job Responsibilities
The Cath Lab CV Rad Technologist will be responsible for preparing equipment, assessing patient conditions, and maintaining a sterile environment for procedures. This individual will also serve as a preceptor for new hires and radiology students and participate in the orientation of new staff.
- Prepare equipment before and during procedures.
- Identify and assess patient condition. Prepare, position, and provide patient care.
- Maintain a sterile environment.
Education and Experience
The ideal candidate will have graduated from an accredited Radiographic Program or Cardiovascular Program and have previous procedural experience in a Cardiovascular Lab setting. American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) certification and Basic Life Support (BLS) training are required. Advanced Life Support (ACLS) training must be achieved within 6 months of hire and maintained through duration of employment.
