About the Role
As a Cath Lab CV Rad Technologist, you will be responsible for preparing equipment, assessing patient conditions, and maintaining a sterile environment. Additionally, you will participate in the orientation of new staff and serve as a preceptor for new hires and radiology students. This role requires strong communication and teamwork skills, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepares equipment before and during procedures.
- Identifies and assesses patient condition. Prepares, positions, and provides patient care.
- Maintains a sterile environment.
- Participates in the orientation of new staff and serves as a preceptor for new hires and radiology students.
Requirements
- Completion of 24 month formal program or military program of Radiologic Technology with American Registry of Radiologic Technologist eligible and/or current RCIS.
- Previous Procedural Area experience preferred.
- Certification in Cardiovascular (CV) or (CI) and/or (VI).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) training required during orientation prior to providing patient care.
