We are seeking a skilled Cardiovascular Technologist to join our team in the Catheterization Laboratory at Norman Regional Health System. As a valued member of our cardiovascular program, you will contribute to delivering exceptional patient care and services in a cutting-edge environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and position equipment for procedures, ensuring optimal functionality and patient comfort.
- Assess patient conditions, develop individualized care plans, and implement treatments under the supervision of physicians.
- Establish and maintain a sterile environment, adhering to stringent protocols and standards to prevent infections.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care, address concerns, and resolve issues promptly.
- Participate in education and training programs, sharing expertise and best practices to enhance team performance and patient outcomes.
Requirements
To succeed in this challenging role, you must possess:
- A degree from an accredited Radiologic Technology program or equivalent experience.
- Current registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, with Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required within 6 months of hire.
- At least one year of experience working in a Cath Lab or procedural area, preferably with certifications in cardiovascular technology.
