This Radiologic Technology specialist position requires a strong background in radiologic technology, with a focus on cardiovascular procedures. The ideal candidate will possess excellent technical skills, strong communication abilities, and a passion for delivering exceptional patient care.
The key qualifications and responsibilities for this role include:
- Preparing equipment before and during procedures.
- Identifying and assessing patient condition. Preparing, positioning, and providing patient care.
- Establishing and maintaining a sterile environment.
- Serving as preceptor for new hires and radiology students and participating in the orientation of new staff.
- Using downtime appropriately by stocking rooms, checking equipment, and other delegated tasks by Charge person or manager.
- Maintaining strong professional working relationships with physicians and leadership to facilitate excellent patient care.
