The Cath Lab CV Rad Technologist collaborates with cardiologists, serves as a preceptor for new staff, and fulfills various tasks to support the department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Completes specific training and certifications, including BLS and RCIS, within designated timeframes.
- Maintains strong professional working relationships with physicians and leadership to facilitate excellent patient care.
- Participates in the orientation of new staff and radiology students.
Requirements:
- Completion of 24-month formal program or military program of Radiologic Technology with American Registry of Radiologic Technologist eligible and/or current RCIS.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) training or re-training required during orientation prior to providing patient care.
