Diagnostic Medical Imaging Technician Position Overview
Norman Regional Health System is a state-of-the-art healthcare facility nestled in the heart of Oklahoma. We are currently seeking a skilled Diagnostic Medical Imaging Technician to expand our cardiovascular program. As a valued member of our team, this individual will have the opportunity to work with a talented group of nine cardiologists and two electrophysiologists.
Responsibilities:
- Prepares and positions patients for diagnostic procedures.
- Maintains a sterile environment during procedures.
- Collaborates with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient care.
Required Qualifications:
- Completion of a 24-month formal program or military program in Radiologic Technology.
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) certification or current RCIS registration.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) training and ACLS certification within six months of hire.
