The Norman Regional Health System is seeking a highly skilled Medical Equipment Technologist to join our team. As a key member of our cardiovascular program, you will be responsible for preparing equipment and providing care during cardiovascular procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare equipment before and during procedures.
- Identify and assess patient condition, prepare, position, and provide patient care.
- Establish and maintain a sterile environment.
- Serve as preceptor for new hires and radiology students, and participate in the orientation of new staff.
- Use downtime appropriately by stocking rooms, checking equipment, and other delegated tasks by Charge person or manager.
Qualifications and Education
A graduate of an accredited Radiographic Program or an accredited Cardiovascular Program is required. Previous procedural area experience is preferred, but not mandatory. Registration as a Radiographer with the American Registry of Radiological Technologist - ARRT or Registration from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International – RCIS is essential.
