Duties and Responsibilities
- Preparation of equipment before and during procedures.
- Assessment and care of patients during procedures.
- Maintenance of a sterile environment.
- Precepting new hires and radiology students.
- Effective use of downtime.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Radiographic Program or Cardiovascular Program.
- One year of experience working in a Cath Lab is preferred.
- Registration with the American Registry of Radiological Technologist (ARRT) or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (RCIS).
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Life Support (ACLS) within 6 months of hire.
