The Cath Lab CV Rad Technologist is responsible for preparing equipment, assessing patient conditions, and maintaining a sterile environment during procedures. This role requires certification, experience in Cath Lab settings, and a commitment to ongoing training and excellence in cardiovascular services.
**Key Responsibilities and Qualifications:**
- Prepare and maintain equipment for procedures.
- Assess patient conditions and provide appropriate care.
- Maintain a sterile environment during procedures.
- Serve as a preceptor for new hires and radiology students.
- Use downtime effectively to perform delegated tasks.
- Maintain strong relationships with physicians and leadership.
- Graduate of an accredited Radiographic Program or Cardiovascular Program
- One year of experience in a Cath Lab setting
- Registered as a Radiographer with ARRT or RCIS
- Basic Life Support certification
- Advanced Life Support certification within 6 months of hire
