Job Summary
Norman Regional Health System's Intermediate Care (IMC) staff provides high-quality care to patients with complex medical conditions. As an accredited primary stroke center, our IMC unit specializes in caring for stroke patients. Our team works collaboratively with other departments and the stroke coordinator to deliver award-winning care.
Responsibilities
- Systematically assesses and reassesses patients' healthcare needs
- Analyzes assessment data to determine nursing diagnoses and expected outcomes
- Provides nursing care through interventions to achieve patient goals and needs
- Evaluates discharge needs and coordinates care as needed
Requirements
- Diploma or Associate's degree in Nursing (ADN)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) training during orientation
- Current BLS certification throughout employment
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) training within 6 months of hire
- Maintain all certifications through re-training
- New graduates required to complete Norman Regional's Nurse Residency Program
Compensation and Benefits
- $46/hour based on previous work experience
- Shift differentials available: $50/hr evenings, $3.00/hr overnights, $3.00/hr weekends
