About the Role
The Cath Lab CV Rad Technologist will play a vital role in preparing equipment, providing patient care, and maintaining a sterile environment during cardiovascular procedures. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to patient safety.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain equipment for cardiovascular procedures
- Provide patient care and support during procedures
- Maintain a sterile environment to prevent infection
- Collaborate with cardiologists and other healthcare professionals
- Serve as a preceptor for new hires and radiology students
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Radiographic or Cardiovascular Program
- Registered as a Radiographer with the American Registry of Radiological Technologist (ARRT) or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (RCIS)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Advanced Life Support (ACLS) certification within 6 months of hire
Benefits and Compensation
- $27.84-$45.46/hr based on previous work experience
