The ideal candidate will have completed an accredited Surgical Technologist program, possess significant training or experience, and hold necessary certifications. National certification is highly preferred.
Surgical Department Overview
Norman Regional Health System's surgical department consists of 24 operating rooms, equipped with state-of-the-art technology. Our team provides services ranging from cardiac, urology, general, neuro, GYN, orthopedics, ENT, and vascular access.
Responsibilities
- Ensuring a sterile environment for surgical procedures.
- Preparing operating rooms and equipment for procedures.
- Assisting physicians during surgical procedures.
- Maintaining a safe environment for patients and staff.
Qualifications
- Accredited Surgical Technologist program or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- National certification in surgical technology is highly preferred.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
