Job Summary
This position is responsible for preparing equipment and ensuring patient care in a sterile environment. The ideal candidate will be certified in Radiologic Technology and have relevant procedural experience, with ongoing training in life support necessary for maintaining patient safety.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare equipment before and during procedures.
- Monitor patient conditions and collaborate closely with cardiologists to deliver exceptional care.
- Establish and maintain a sterile environment.
- Participate in the orientation of new staff and serve as a mentor for new hires.
- Use downtime appropriately by stocking rooms, checking equipment, and other delegated tasks by Charge person or manager.
- Maintain strong professional working relationships with physicians and leadership to facilitate excellent patient care.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Radiographic Program or Graduate of an accredited Cardiovascular Program.
- One year of experience working in a Cath Lab preferred.
- Registered as a Radiographer with the American Registry of Radiological Technologist - ARRT or Registration from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International – RCIS.
- Basic Life Support and Advanced Life Support certifications required.
