Responsibilities
- Prepare equipment before and during procedures.
- Identify and assess patient condition. Prepare, position and provide patient care.
- Establish and maintain a sterile environment.
You will collaborate with a team of cardiologists, serve as a preceptor for new hires and radiology students, and continuously improve departmental efficiency.
Education and Certification
To be successful in this role, you must have a graduate degree from an accredited Radiographic Program or Cardiovascular Program. You should also possess certifications from the American Registry of Radiologic Technology and Cardiovascular Credentialing International, with a focus on patient safety and advanced support skills.
- Registered as a Radiographer with the American Registry of Radiological Technologist - ARRT
- Registration from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International – RCIS
- Basic Life Support
- Advanced Life Support within 6 months of hire
