Job Summary
The Cath Lab CV Rad Technologist is responsible for preparing and operating radiologic equipment during cardiovascular procedures, ensuring patient safety and care. This role includes maintaining a sterile environment, assessing patient conditions, and collaborating with a team of cardiologists and electrophysiologists in a dynamic hospital setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepares equipment before and during procedures.
- Identifies and assesses patient condition.
- Prepares, positions and provides patient care.
- Maintains a sterile environment.
Professional Qualifications
- Completion of 24-month formal program or military program of Radiologic Technology with American Registry of Radiologic Technologist eligibility and/or current RCIS registration.
- Previous Procedural Area experience preferred.
- American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) registration and/or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) registration.
