What are the responsibilities and job description for the Vascular Interventional Radiology Technician position at Norman Regional Health System?
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you must possess a completion of a 24-month formal program or military program of Radiologic Technology with American Registry of Radiologic Technologist eligibility and/or current RCIS registration. Previous procedural area experience is preferred.
You should also hold certifications such as Cardiovascular (CV), Certified Interventional Radiographer (CI), or Certified Vascular Interventional Radiographer (VI). Basic Life Support (BLS) training is required during orientation prior to providing patient care, and Advanced Life Support (ACLS) training must be achieved within six months of hire and maintained throughout employment.
