About the Position
This role requires preparing equipment and providing patient care during cardiovascular procedures, while maintaining a sterile environment. The ideal candidate will assess patient conditions, collaborate closely with cardiologists, and hold relevant certifications.
Responsibilities and Qualifications
- Prepare equipment before and during procedures
- Identify and assess patient condition, prepare, position, and provide patient care
- Establish and maintain a sterile environment
- Professional practice: serve as preceptor for new hires and radiology students, participate in orientation of new staff
- Qualifications: complete Cath Lab RT Orientation within 6 months, complete all competencies listed in department policy within 6 months, education: completion of a 24-month formal program or military program in Radiologic Technology, with American Registry of Radiologic Technologist eligibility and/or current RCIS certification
