Dental Assistant - Bilingual English / Spanish

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Dental Assistant to join our team in a unique role that combines traditional dental assisting duties with a focus on patient engagement, marketing, and practice growth. In addition to a base pay, the selected candidate will have the opportunity to earn commission on elective dental procedures they introduce to patients, as well as for referrals and marketing initiatives they bring to the office.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist dentists with various dental procedures, including preparation, execution, and cleanup, while maintaining a professional and compassionate demeanor.

• Prepare patients for treatments, take dental x-rays, and record patient medical and dental histories.

• Educate patients on elective dental procedures, such as teeth whitening and cosmetic services, to increase patient interest and generate additional revenue.

• Implement marketing strategies to increase patient referrals and grow the practice, including social media promotion, networking, and community outreach efforts.

• Monitor and track commission-eligible activities, such as elective procedure sales and patient referrals, to ensure accurate compensation.

• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to all safety and sanitation protocols.

• Collaborate with the dental team to ensure efficient patient flow and overall practice success.

• Attend ongoing training and professional development opportunities to stay current on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies.

Qualifications:

• Dental Assistant certification from an accredited program or equivalent work experience.

• Current X-ray license, as required by the state.

• Knowledge of dental procedures and terminology.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients and promote elective services.

• Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for marketing and practice growth.

• Proficient in using social media platforms for business promotion.

• Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks effectively.
