CDL Truck Driver
Seasonal / Temporary : mid-March to mid-June
Normandeau Associates, Inc., an employee-owned environmental consulting firm specializing in water and natural resources issues, has numerous positions available for temporary CDL Truck Drivers at our Peach Bottom, PA office for fisheries biology work located at Conowingo Dam in Maryland.
BASIC PURPOSE
Assists with the safe transport of American Shad and river herring as part of the Conowingo Dam fish lift trap and transport program.
CHARACTERISTIC DUTIES and RESPOPNSIBILITIES
- Operation of a fish transport truck to transport migratory fish from Conowingo Dam to upstream stocking locations in Columbia and Middletown, PA.
- Performs pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections of the transport truck, safely transports anadromous fish to designated stocking locations on the Susquehanna River with a fish lift technician
- Must have very flexible schedule due to unpredictable fish availability
- Adheres to company and client health and safety policies

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Ability to pass fitness for duty testing (drug testing includes marijuana) at hydro facilities is required. Must abide by company and client safety protocols. Willing to work extended shifts (up to 14.5 hours) or morning or afternoon shifts including weekends.
Must be able to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
