Normandeau Associates, Inc., an employee-owned environmental consulting firm specializing in natural resources management, is seeking an individual to join our Technical Data Processing (TDP) team as an Environmental Data Entry Administrator in our Bedford, NH office.
Responsibilities :
This position will primarily be responsible for electronically entering project data; managing and reviewing data sheets for accuracy and completeness; and assisting with data quality control. This role will oversee administrative tasks for TDP as needed for project reporting and assisting with data graphics (requiring the use of software such as Adobe Illustrator and Microsoft Office) related to environmental permitting or monitoring programs.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail will be expected of a successful candidate as they will be responsible for receiving and documenting all incoming data from lab and field staff. The successful applicant will work independently and with project scientists to perform tasks as called upon.
Required experience for this position includes advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office software (MS Word, MS Excel, etc.) with strong preference to a candidate with previous administrative or related work experience. This role will involve the upkeep of data entry tracking and effective communication to maintain project deadlines. Candidates must be willing to learn new data entry software (Computer Keyes) and to assist with early phase data processing in SAS programming software (previous experience not required). Considering the nature of the data types that will be reviewed and entered on a daily basis, a candidate with an interest in marine science, ecology, biology, fisheries science, or a related field is highly recommended. Normandeau is a dynamic work environment that requires flexibility and teamwork; daily work tasks may fluctuate based on project needs.

- Bachelor's Degree (preferred)
Salary : $18.50 - $21.00
