From its world-class manufacturing facility in Longview WA., NORPAC delivers a broad range of high-quality papers to customers across the United States and around the world. NORPAC makes high-quality and environmentally conscious packaging paper, copy paper and printing paper grades.

NORPAC plans to hire seasonal workers for the upcoming summer period primarily to provide vacation relief for various departments. The jobs the seasonal workers fill is crucial to the smooth operations of the mill during the summer. Therefore, we need seasonal workers who are safety focused, team players, quick learners, motivated, willing to get dirty, not afraid of manual labor and enjoy being active in their job.

To qualify for this program, you must:
- Be at least 18 years old or will be 18 years old prior to mid-June.
- High School Diploma/GED or higher prior to starting the Program.
- Must be able to work 12 hour rotating shift schedule.
- Be eligible for rehire if previously employed in the Program. Failure to satisfactorily perform job by meeting overall job requirements will jeopardize future employment.
- Be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen (prior to orientation), pre-employment background check, and post-employment physical (prior to first day of work and only required for 1st year in Program).
- Be available to attend employee Orientation, (if new to the Program).
- Be available to work during the months of June, July, August and September, and be available for at least 90 days, preferrably 120 days min. Does not include new employee orientation.
- The peak vacation coverage time at NORPAC is July and August. The length of time that a seasonal worker is available to work will be a consideration in this selection and placement process. For example, if there are eight positions with a June/July coverage need and 15 with a July/August coverage need, we will select seasonal workers with availability that best match the crew vacation needs. Additionally, previous experience in an industrial environment or manual labor may be considered during placement. Seasonal employees with more available days to work will receive priority.
- Seasonal work is a temporary position – duration is generally for summer vacation coverage but may be extended up to 6 months based on business needs.
- If there would happen to be a curtailment due to market conditions or other changes in NORPAC's business needs, the seasonal work employment Program may be delayed or canceled at any time.
- The majority of the jobs are on a rotating 12-hour shift, but there may be some limited day positions available.
Compensation:
The Seasonal Work Program range is $23.18.
