Maintenance Technician 2ND Shift (3:30pm - 12am)

Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team. FOOD MANUFACTURING / PRODUCTION EXPERIENCE REQUIRED.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in facilities maintenance in a food production environment and have the ability to troubleshoot and resolve various maintenance issues. This role requires a proactive approach to ensure that all systems are functioning efficiently and safely. The Maintenance Technician will play a crucial role in maintaining the integrity of our facilities and machine while eliminating downtown in our production facility.

Duties

• Perform routine maintenance tasks on various systems, including electrical, plumbing, and HVAC.
• Supervise and coordinate maintenance projects, ensuring timely completion and adherence to safety standards.
• Conduct inspections of facilities to identify potential issues and implement corrective measures.
• Fabricate and weld components as needed for repairs or modifications.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders and inventory management.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing concerns promptly and professionally.
• Assist with painting projects as required to maintain aesthetic quality of properties.
• Collaborate with other team members to enhance overall facility operations.

Skills

• Strong knowledge of facilities maintenance practices and procedures.
• Required Food Production Equipment, regulations and restrictions (FDA / USDA)
• Proficiency in electrical systems, including troubleshooting logic controllers.
• Excellent supervisory skills with the ability to lead projects effectively.
• Experience in residential painting techniques and materials.
• Effective communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
• Strong customer service orientation with a focus on client satisfaction.
• Ability to maintain a safe working environment while adhering to safety regulations.
• Competence in fabricating and welding materials for repairs or modifications as needed.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.36 - $31.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
