Duties and Responsibilities
- Assists in the development of architectural designs, to ensure that the solution delivered meets quality parameters, project timelines and budgetary requirements
- Performs code research, material and building systems
- Prepares drawings, models and renderings, following office standards
- Prepares and coordinates presentation materials to ensure project documentation is complete and accurate
- Assists in tracking and reviewing shop drawings, schedules, samples, progress payments, alternate requests and project change documents to ensure all project documentation is accurate and complete
- Follows safety requirements when in the field
- Education: You are currently enrolled in a post-secondary Architectural program
- Technical: Design and rendering software skills; e.g., Revit, SketchUp, and Photoshop
- Knowledge: Architectural design and presentation techniques; basic permit and building codes
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
