Hello prospective counselors. Welcome to Norridge Park District. Are you fun and energetic? Do you like helping children learn and grow? Do you like outdoor activities? If you answered yes to our questions then this is the place for you. We have an amazing Park and are ready to build an outstanding summer camp program. Our new pool is expected to open this summer and our grounds are meant to be used and explored. Camp begins June 10 however, we are hiring now.
Requirements
• Provides a safe and healthy environment for all the children in the camp program.
• Ensures that the children are under proper supervision at all times.
• Eats lunch with the children and provides appropriate discussion for meal times.
• Ensures that all documentation takes place promptly such as attendance, accident/incident reports, and any other required paperwork.
• Follows the schedule and routine created for the program
promptly• Must be at least 19 years of age.
• High School Diploma or G.E.D.
• Emotional maturity when working with children, parents, co-workers, and supervisors.
• Flexibility, patience, and understanding when working with children.
