We are seeking a dedicated and organized Administrative Assistant to join our team. Duties
- Manage calendars and schedule appointments for team members, as needed.
- Handle incoming calls and provide excellent phone etiquette while assisting clients.
- Scan and upload client documents into internal systems such as Canopy.
- Perform electronic filing and document organization.
- Assist with client follow-up after tax preparation.
- Maintain and organize both digital and physical files.
- Assist with office management tasks to maintain a well-organized workspace.
- Utilize QuickBooks for basic accounting tasks as needed.
- Proofread documents for accuracy and clarity before distribution.
- Assist other staff with general administrative duties as needed.
- Support various administrative functions to ensure efficient office operations.
Experience
- Previous experience in an administrative role is required.
- Proficiency in calendar management and office management practices.
- Familiarity with phone systems and excellent phone etiquette skills are essential.
- Strong clerical skills with the ability to type efficiently and accurately.
- Experience with QuickBooks is a plus but not required; willingness to learn is essential.
- Experience with document management systems (e.g., Canopy) is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and general office technology.
- Ability to multitask and work independently.
- A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and multitasking in a fast-paced environment is highly valued.
Schedule
